Payroll & Accounting Coordinator
Tess Hutchins serves as the Payroll & Accounting Coordinator at the Lastinger Center for Learning. In this role, Tess manages the payroll distribution process, assists in the preparation and management of personnel budgets, and generates accounting reports for the Center.
Tess began her career in public accounting and grants management. Previously, Tess served as a Tax Consultant at Deloitte, where she worked in the Business Tax Services division with a focus on investment management clients. Tess then worked as a Business Development Manager for a bio-fertilizer manufacturing small business in Florida where she managed federal research and capital improvement grants as well as finance, sales, and marketing activities.
Tess has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Florida and a master’s degree in accountancy from the University of Florida. In her free time, Tess enjoys fiddling with her plants, going on walks, and spending time with her family.
