Albie Kaminsky serves as Vice President of State Government Affairs for Charter Communications (Spectrum), where he leads the company’s advocacy, policy and engagement efforts across Florida. In this role, he oversees legislative, local, and regulatory priorities, manages a team of employees and contract lobbyists, and directs strategic partnerships that support Spectrum’s growth and investment in Florida communities. Since joining Spectrum in 2018, Albie has served in multiple capacities, ascending within the organization as he advanced statewide business objectives and public policy initiatives.
Albie played a central role in establishing Florida’s first $400 million Broadband Opportunity Program, which has funded more than 150 projects across 60 counties to expand internet access to over 309,000 unserved homes and businesses. Beyond infrastructure, he has advanced adoption and digital literacy by building partnerships with nonprofits focused on workforce development, education, and closing the digital divide. Prior to joining Spectrum, Albie built his policy expertise in the Florida House of Representatives, where he served as a Legislative Aide to the Chair of both the House Ways & Means Committee and the Commerce Committee.
His leadership and impact have been recognized statewide. Albie was named 2025 In-House Lobbyist of the Year by Influence Magazine, received the 2024 Impact Award from the News Service of Florida, and was honored as a 40 Under 40 professional by both the Tampa Bay Business Journal and Business Observer.
A proud Double Business Gator, he earned both his BSBA in Finance and MBA from the University of Florida and was inducted into the UF Hall of Fame upon graduation. He serves on the boards of Associated Industries of Florida, Florida TaxWatch, the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce, and the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Tampa. Albie and his wife Angela reside in St. Petersburg with their two young sons.
