David Bryant
Development Director, New Worlds Reading Initiative
David Bryant is the Development Director for the Lastinger Center for Learning’s New World Reading Initiative.
David has been working in nonprofit fundraising for 21 years, and got his start in the field at New College of Florida in Sarasota running the Alumni Association. He has nearly 10 years of experience in tax-credit fundraising from his work at Step Up For Students.
David has a BA in Social Science from USF and an MBA in Marketing from UF. He also hosts an R&B radio show as a volunteer DJ on WMNF 88.5 FM in Tampa.
David lives in Tampa and will be working remotely, and has one daughter, a 16-year old named Jackie.
