Listening Tours
Participant Information
Through meetings, surveys, interviews and roundtable discussions, the UF Lastinger Center for Learning Listening Tour aims to gather perspectives on educational experiences, systems, content, teaching practices and professional learning. The easiest way to participate is by taking a 10-minute survey:
What is a Listening Tour?
A series of state-wide events that provide insight into:
- Improving learning outcomes for children
- Enhancing educator knowledge and skills
- Supporting educators as they serve our children

- Help us better understand the realities facing students, families, and educators, particularly in mathematics
- Highlight best practices, key themes, challenges, and solutions in education
- Support future planning and policy efforts at the local, state, and national levels

Listening Tours are designed to support connections with and gather perspectives from a wide variety of stakeholders including:
- Students & families
- Educators & district-level leaders
- Education foundations & educational associations
- Parent teacher organizations
- Community leaders
- Community-based non-profit organizations
- Legislators
