Rebecca Gonzalez is a Literacy Support Specialist at the Lastinger Center for Learning, where she supports learners and instructors in the Emergent Literacy Micro-Credential program. Previously, she coordinated the Hillsborough Early Learning Network, leading recruitment, enrollment, and professional development for early childhood educators.
With over 17 years of experience in diverse educational settings, Rebecca is deeply committed to supporting educators and fostering ongoing professional growth. She believes that investing in educators’ continuous learning creates a lasting, positive impact on young children, helping to shape their future success.
Rebecca holds a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education, a Master’s in Reading Education from Florida International University, and an Education Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction through the University of Florida.
