Elizabeth McConney serves as a Literacy Specialist at the Lastinger Center for Learning creating content for the New Worlds Reading Initiative. In this role, Elizabeth develops training materials including video and text resources to assist families as they engage in reading and improve literacy skills.
Elizabeth began her career with the Jacksonville Public Library where she worked with a diverse group creating and delivering literacy activities and trainings for children and their caregivers.
Elizabeth has a bachelor’s degree in Visual arts from New College of Florida. In her free time, she enjoys biking local trails in search of new painting opportunities and creating fiber arts.
