Aliyah Walters, MS

Aliyah Walters serves as the Stipend Processor at the Lastinger Center for Learning. In this role, Aliyah responds to inquiries and requests from educators, supports staff regarding enrollment and course incentive programs, processes paperwork and applications, and administers files through a proprietary software system.

Aliyah began her career in Business Administration by providing clerical support to ensure smooth and efficient functioning within a fast-paced professional setting. Her work responsibilities included providing excellent verbal and written communication as well as administrative and leadership assistance by coordinating high priority projects and assignments. Aliyah previously worked as a Behavioral Specialist, collaborating with the Executive Director and leading teachers to manage daily behavioral and learning activities at different learning stages. She provided one-on-one coaching and advising, and also managed staff scheduling, orientation, curriculum planning, and research projects.

Aliyah has a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from the University of Florida and a Masters Degree in Medical Science with a concentration in Forensic Medicine and Psychology from The University of Florida. In her free time, Aliyah enjoys watching anime, reading or researching, and spending time with loved ones.
