Ana Valdes serves as an Implementation Specialist for the Lastinger Center. Along with her colleagues, Ana works to empower the early learning community by providing communities of practice training, coaching recertification, and calibrations.

Ana has over thirty years of experience in the education field, including time spent serving as an assistant principal. Ana was also an instructor for Early Learning Florida for 6 years. She is motivated by her desire to continue to empower early learning professionals, especially supporting the Hispanic community.

Ana holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and a minor in Pre-School Education from Florida International University. She also holds a Master’s in Education Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.
