Christine Ellis serves as a Learning Services Specialist at the Lastinger Center for Learning. In this role, Christine supports the Flamingo Literacy Mico-Credentials through learner enrolment.
Christine began her career as an elementary school teacher where she taught students from kindergarten through fourth grade. She has also served as a school-based literacy coach in South Carolina where she supported educators in best practices in reading and writing. More recently Christine has been a school district administrator where she supported student assessment and school accountability in addition to district-wide communication.
Christine has earned her Bachelors of Arts in Education and Masters of Education from the University of Florida. She is currently working on a doctoral degree at University of Florida in Educational Leadership. In her free time, Christine enjoys outdoor adventures with her dog, traveling to new places, practicing yoga, and personal nail art.
