Estelle Gyimah

Success Enablement Specialist

Estelle Gyimah serves as the Success Enablement Specialist at the Lastinger Center for Learning. In this role, Estelle will provide tangible resources to the Learning Community Support Team to create more efficiencies in the troubleshooting process. Estelle will also focus on the user/learner experience to provide support and service that anticipates their needs and increases their familiarity with the Lastinger Center products.

Estelle began her career in Campus Recreation. Previously, Estelle served as the Assistant Director for Fitness at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) where she managed the Group Fitness program and Facility Operations at the Alumni Pool and Wang Fitness Center. After that, she decided she wanted to work in a student-focused environment and made her way down to the Sunshine State. Estelle worked as the Assistant Director for Operations at UF RecSports where she managed a large student staff and purchased top-of-the-line fitness equipment. In this role, Estelle was responsible for creating resources for the student staff to better assist patrons and implementing feedback from patrons, student staff, and professional staff to create a more cohesive and inclusive environment.

Estelle has a bachelor’s degree in Multidisciplinary Studies with a focus on Health and English from Stony Brook University and a master’s degree in College Student Personnel Administration from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Currently, she is obtaining a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Florida. In her free time, Estelle enjoys working out, watching movies, and kayaking.
