Fernando Franco Crespo is the IT Helpdesk Specialist for the Lastinger Center for Learning. Fernando works alongside the Technology Coordinator focusing on usability features & preventive support for various Lastinger Center projects. Their goal is to empower teachers and students by providing them with a judgment-free, stress-free environment to communicate their questions and needs. As a member of the Helpdesk team, Fernando is motivated by a desire for a good & consistent user experience, as well as a passion for meaningful data & statistics.
Fernando earned their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Engineering Leadership from the University of Florida. In their spare time, Fernando peaked Masters in the video game League of Legends, and loves spending time with their wife, Taylor Walkup, as well as their two dogs, Peach & Blue. Go Gators!
