Janette Labrador, M.A.

Instructional Design Specialist

Jannette Labrador, M.A. serves as an Instructional Design Specialist for the New Worlds Reading Initiative at the Lastinger Center for Learning. In this role, Jannette specializes in translating and editing professional learning content in Spanish to expand accessibility to meet our audiences’ needs.

For over eight years, Jannette worked in global companies as a communications professional until she fell in love with the Education field. After teaching communications to graduate and undergraduate students, she became a bilingual instructional designer. For over twelve years she has been able to harmonize her passion for people and languages.

Jannette earned a bachelor´s degree in History and Languages and a Master´s degree in Communications and Writing at the University of the Sacred Heart. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and her dog, cooking, and traveling.
