John Houder serves as the Manager for Experience Design at the Lastinger Center for Learning. In this role, John works with teams of graphic designers, interactive media specialists, and web developers to produce engaging and impactful learning and communications content.

John began his career as a web content manager for news and government organizations before expanding into web development, graphic design, and multimedia production. Before joining the Lastinger Center, John served as the assistant director for Creative Works, an auxiliary unit focused on media and live event production for groups across the University of Florida.

John holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Colorado Boulder. In his free time, you can find John listening to podcasts, enjoying time outdoors, or spending time with his wife and two boys.
