Jordan Koziol serves as the communications manager at the Lastinger Center for Learning. In this role, Jordan communications efforts through the management of projects, processes and people within the communications department and by collaborating with managers across the center. This position manages content and media development and public relations for external and internal audiences in service of 1) recruiting participants for Lastinger Center programs, 2) supporting the development of partnerships for Lastinger Center products and initiatives and 3) promoting and creating the intended public image for the UF Lastinger Center for Learning, its projects and associated initiatives. In addition to playing a management role on the team, the Communications Manager creates content for a variety of different communications outlets.

Prior to working at the Lastinger Center, Jordan served as the volunteer and marketing administrator for The Education Foundation of Alachua County. In this role, she recruited, trained and retained over 300 volunteer mentors for the Take Stock in Children program, created content for social media and newsletters, and helped with the Foundation’s website redesign.

Jordan graduated from the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications in August of 2020. She holds a bachelors degree in public relations and a minor in innovation from the Innovation Academy. When she’s not at work, Jordan enjoys spending time outside with her dogs, cooking, and watching TV dramas based on real-life events.
