Karmen Santiago
Email Marketing & Recruiting Specialist
Karmen serves as the Email Marketing and Recruitment Specialist at the Lastinger Center for Learning. In this role, Karmen is responsible for developing targeted email content, analyzing campaign performance, and implementing best practices to ensure successful outreach efforts.
Karmen began her career in higher education administration, specializing in admissions and student support. She previously worked as an Academic Coordinator at UF Online, where she was involved in activities related to student success and academic strategies, such as creating engagement opportunities for students. Prior to that role, Karmen was the Assistant Registrar at Santa Fe College, where she was responsible for student reporting and appeals, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.
Karmen holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Marketing from Universidad del Sagrado Corazón and is currently pursuing a graduate certificate in Instructional Design at the University of Florida. Outside of work, she enjoys visiting the beautiful beaches around the state, exploring theme parks, and discovering new cafes and restaurants with her family.
