Kendra Fields serves as a Literacy Content Specialist at the Lastinger Center for Learning. In this role, Kendra helps develop literacy and coaching content for professional development courses and resources.

Kendra began her career as a 4th grade teacher at Lake Forest Elementary in Gainesville, FL. She worked as a district literacy coach and professional development specialist for Alachua County Public Schools. Most recently, she has been at Littlewood Elementary as an instructional coach and data manager, helping teachers actively use data to drive instruction. She is passionate about literacy, developing a love of reading for students of all ages, and ongoing professional learning for teachers.

Kendra has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Florida and Master’s Degree from the University of Florida with a focus on children’s literature. In her free time she enjoys traveling, spending time with her husband and twins, and attending as many Gator sports as she can!
