F. Paul Wonsavage, PH.D.
Mathematics Product Manager
Paul Wonsavage, Ph.D., serves as the Mathematics Product Manager at the Lastinger Center for Learning. In this role, Paul curates the Mathematics Product Roadmap, conducts market research, and collects user feedback on the mathematics product line in order to ensure K-12 mathematics educators’ professional learning needs are met. He works collaboratively with the mathematics and product teams at the Lastinger Center for Learning.
Paul began his career teaching high school mathematics for 7 years before pursuing his masters and doctoral degrees. Paul is a design-based, qualitative researcher who has worked on research projects involving building research-practice partnerships with teachers, schools and districts. Most recently, he worked on a NSF-funded grant focused on designing incremental professional development for teachers.
Paul has a bachelor’s degree from NC State University, a master’s degree in mathematics education from UNC-Greensboro, and a Ph.D. in educational studies from UNC-Greensboro. In his free time, Paul enjoys DIY house projects, woodworking, and spending time with his wife and two boys.
