Robin Gregory serves as the Interim Assistant Director for the New Worlds Reading Initiative at the Lastinger Center for Learning, where she oversees project planning, implementation, and strategic management for one of Florida’s most impactful literacy programs. Her diverse professional journey has provided her with a unique blend of skills in operations, project management, and educational leadership.
Robin’s career spans multiple industries, beginning with a decade in the financial sector where she developed a solid foundation in client relations, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance as a mortgage broker. After relocating to Florida, she shifted to education, serving as a substitute teacher in Alachua County and later managing administrative operations at P.K. Yonge Developmental Research School to create systems and enhance efficiency. Building on her operations experience, Robin joined Career Services in the Warrington College of Business, overseeing event management, fiscal administration, human resources, and marketing for five years. Her diverse background highlights her adaptability and expertise in managing complex projects across different sectors.
Robin holds a Bachelor of Arts in English – Rhetoric and Professional Communication from Iowa State University and a Master of Science in Management from UF Warrington College of Business. Her varied experience across finance, education, and business operations, combined with her dedication to creating impactful, streamlined solutions, makes her a versatile leader committed to efficiency and excellence.
