Taylor Bainter, Ph.D.

Coordinator, Mathematics Content Development and Implementation

Taylor serves as the Mathematics Content Coordinator at the Lastinger Center for Learning. In this role, Taylor leads the design and development of high-quality, innovative mathematics education products and services with a specific focus on mathematics professional development content and experiences within the Lastinger Center’s online learning platform.

Taylor began her career as a University School Instructor at P.K. Yonge Developmental Research School, where she taught middle and high school mathematics courses for eight years. She then transitioned to the Lastinger Center for Learning, where she served as a Mathematics Content Development and Implementation Specialist.

Taylor has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, master’s degree in math education, and a doctorate in curriculum and instruction, all from the University of Florida. In her free time, Taylor enjoys reading, crocheting, and spending time with her family.
