Xueer Xia serves as an Interactive Media Specialist at the Lastinger Center for Learning. For this role, she ensures all artistic work follows the correct branding and develops interactive e-learning courses.

Xueer began her career as an industrial designer at Bluesail Medical Co in Shanghai, China where she worked on the design of the Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL) system unit with doctors and surgeons. Previously, she served as an XR designer and developer at the University of Miami where designed and developed AR application for environmental education.

Xueer Xia has a bachelor’s degree in Intellectual Product Design from China Academy of art and a master’s degree of Fine Arts in Interactive Media from the University of Miami. In her free time, Xueer becomes an artist who likes oil painting, water-color, and acrylics. Xueer loves developing XR experience, museum hopping and baking cakes at home.
