Flamingo Early Learning: Fall 2024

Congratulations on successfully completing a Florida Early Learning course! Complete the secure form below to facilitate payment of your $150.00 completion stipend. Please be sure to provide accurate information as soon as possible so your stipend can be processed quickly!

All applications will be reviewed in the order they were received by our Stipends Processing Team to determine eligibility according to the eligibility requirements.
A reminder for all applicants that stipends are currently only available for course offerings ending in Fall 2024. Stipend applications are reviewed in the order they are received and stipends are dependent upon budget availability.

Stipend Eligibility

• Be an eligible participant, School Readiness & VPK provider in Florida as verified by your Early Learning Coalition.
• Successfully complete mastery of a Flamingo Early Learning course

Leadership Courses

• Effective Operations in Early Childhood Education (EOECE)
• Professionalism in Early Childhood Education – Director’s Version (PECED)
• Profesionalismo en la Educación Infantil Temprana (PECES)

Stipend Application Steps

Applications for Flamingo Early Learning courses completed in Fall 2024.

The application for stipends will close at midnight on November 30, 2024.

• Course end dates have been extended to October 29, 2024 due to hurricane impacts. The stipend application launch is currently expected at the end of October 2024.
• Participants will be notified via email when the stipend application launches.
• The application for stipends will close at midnight on November 30, 2024. 
• All submissions will be reviewed in the order they are received.
• If you complete multiple Flamingo Early Learning courses in Fall 2024, you will need to complete a separate stipend application for each course. 
• Stipends are not guaranteed and are dependent upon budget availability and eligibility. For some participants, stipend processing may take up to 8 weeks to process. Please understand stipend timelines are an estimation and processing times vary by participant.
• Stipends are only available for Flamingo Early Learning courses officially ending in Fall 2024.

Payment Options

Stipend distribution will be via Zelle (direct deposit) 

• You must have access to a smartphone or to online banking through your financial institution to receive the stipend.
• You must provide an email address or mobile number that’s already connected to your bank profile; or you can connect your bank account later with the mobile number or email address you provide and a debit card. The University of Florida is not responsible for any erroneous payment information.
• You will not be asked to share your banking information with UF.

Stipends Application and Employment Verification

All applications will be reviewed in the order received by our Stipends Processing Team for eligibility determination according to the requirements. Our team will then reach out with next steps if needed. Apply here:

To be eligible for the stipend, you must complete mastery of the Flamingo Early Learning Course (Fall 2024) and submit your application by November 30, 2024. Stipends are only available for courses officially ending on October 29, 2024 (end date of October 15, 2024 was extended due to hurricane impacts).

Please note, courses are only considered complete, and grading is only considered final, after the official end date of the course.  If the official end date of your course is not in the Fall 2024, you are not eligible for a stipend at this time. By completing the application, you agree to the terms of payment and eligibility upon completion of all requirements, aiding in verifying your eligibility, and that you are eligible at the time of completion.
