Tutoring Partners
Florida Tutoring Advantage
Florida Tutoring Advantage will be contracting with a variety of tutoring partners who provide in-person, virtual or automated tutoring services in reading and mathematics, or AI enhanced learning support to pilot services with districts.
How does it work?
After districts (public and public charter) express interest in tutoring services, the UF Lastinger Center will match the district with the appropriate tutoring partner(s).
By participating in the Florida Tutoring Advantage, districts will:
- Determine which students are eligible to receive tutoring partner tutoring services.
- Receive tutoring services at no cost from tutoring partners throughout the course of the pilot
- Share student and tutoring data to track the effectiveness of the program.
Pilot services may include:
- District-provided or tutoring partner provided in-person tutoring (K-5)
- Instructor-led virtual tutoring (K-5)
- Automated tutoring software (K-5)
- AI-enhanced support and learning platform (6-12)
