Stipend Applications

Upon completion of a program that offers a stipend, our Stipends Processing Team will reach out with the next steps to complete the stipend application. Please refer to the stipend application pages below to check the guidelines to see if you are eligible to receive a stipend.

You will need to have relevant information on hand, including address, social security number, personal and Flamingo Learning emails, DCF number, recent paystub and Genius Learner ID. You can use our self-check tool to check your eligility for the applications below.

Child Care Personnel & Prekindergarten Instructors Micro-Credentials

$2,000 completion stipend for eligible early child care personnel and early learning instructional staff.

Stipends Programs

Through partnerships with the Florida Department of Education and the Division of Early Learning, the UF Lastinger Center for Learning is able to offer on-demand and in-person professional learning opportunities for educators from birth through twelfth grade at no cost to the participants, as well as provide completion stipends to recognize mastery of content that supports elevating their practice and enhancing the quality of teaching and learning.

The stipends programs have already helped thousands of educators, and our list of available stipend programs continues to grow. We currently offer several stipend programs that target education across age ranges and subjects.

Emergent Micro

Build emergent literacy knowledge and skills with high-quality content.

Elementary Micro

Identify literacy difficulties from prekindergarten to fifth grade and develop skills to apply and engage in evidence-based practices.

Secondary Micro

Identify literacy difficulties from sixth to twelfth grade and develop skills to apply and engage in evidence-based practices.

Literacy Matrix

Online professional development covering evidence-based reading instruction.
